I only played this while I was watching my daughter eat her meal so I focused on doing some treasure collecting in the Lost Woods. I remember playing music with skull kids in there but I didn't see them my first time through so I went back and explored. I found a deku dude who allowed me to carry more deku sticks and a heart piece.
I also found the two skull kids and played some ocarina songs with them. I had to write down the song on a piece of paper because I screwed it up a few times and I couldn't focus because my baby girl needs regular attention when eating. After writing it down, I succeeded and got a second heart piece.
