Gridblock

I saw a lot of chatter about this game on Twitter, so I decided to give is a shot while I was watching hockey. Gridblock is a puzzles game. The objective is place blocks of various shapes, similar to Tetrominos. Once a line is made, either horizontally or vertically, that line is cleared. Scores are based on how many lines were cleared.

It's a very simple concept, and like all great puzzle games, it's very difficult to master. There's a lot of ways to approach any situation, especially since blocks are given in sets of 3, allowing for many different approaches. I liked what I played and I'm sure I'll play it again whenever I have a few minutes to kill.
