Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon

Date played: February 28th
Platform: 3DS
Session fun rating: 7/10

I played through a rather long level where Luigi had to recover pieces of a metal pinwheel gate from thieving ghosts. Using the newly provided water from the water pump, I was able to use buckets as watering devices to make some plants grow and reveal new secrets. I explored much of the dual tower mansion including a small courtyard, a shed, a creepy basement (with coffins!) and a special botanical experimentation room.

It's in that room that I got stuck. I had to reveal a piece of pipe in the ceiling using my special light, but I never saw it. This pipe would send water down to a special plant that grew into a beanstalk and granted me access to higher levels in the mansion. However, after 15 minutes of exploring every nook and cranny of the level, I gave up and watched a Youtube walkthrough to find the secret pipe. It was still a lot of fun, this level is filled with cool contraptions and good battles.
