Yoshi's Woolly World

Date played: January 10th
Platform: Wii U
Session fun rating: 9/10

I love my Sunday mornings... I get to drink a nice warm cup of coffee and play video games with my daughter. Today, we played some more Yoshi's Woolly World, completing 3 new levels. Before that, we got the last flower and yarn balls from the second level in the world, so that it we would get the secret level as soon as we finished the boss level.

The castle level was infested with little chicks that don giant egg shells with drawings on it that make it resemble a full grown chicken... The shells are dangerous for Yoshi, but they also act as jumping platforms, creating some fun puzzles. The boss was a giant chick that hid in a giant egg shell. It wasn't too hard, but it was lots of fun.
This giant chicken was fun to fight!
The special level was a real fucking bitch. The gimmick was that I had to ride on the cloudy coattails of a single bullet bill throughout the entire level. To make it worst, the whole thing is auto-scrolling! It was really difficult, but after over a dozen tries, I made it through and we celebrated with high fives and cheers.

The fourth world opened up and it's a giant jungle! We only played the first level, but it was a good one. Most of it was revolved around fighting little monkeys that climb all over the place and spit watermelon seeds at Yoshi.
